Hey bride-to-be!

Let’s break down two bridal events you’ll hear about a lot - and help you decide which one is your vibe.

Trunk Show = Fresh, Fashion-Forward, Exclusive

A trunk show is when a designer sends a specific collection to a bridal boutique for a limited time. Think of it as a traveling closet of gowns.

Why it’s special:

These gowns may not normally live in the store
It might be your only chance to try certain styles
Collections often include the latest designs
Perfect if you love being ahead of trends or want more options

Since no boutique can carry every dress a designer makes, trunk shows give you access to gowns you might not otherwise see IRL.

Sample Sale = Deals, Now-or-Never Energy

A sample sale is when a boutique sells the actual dresses hanging in the store to make room for new collections.

Why brides love them:

Discounted pricing (yes, please)
Ideal if you’re on a budget or short timeline
You take home that gown (not a new order)

Heads up: these gowns may have some light wear and tear from try-ons - but they’re still stunning and full of bridal magic.

Which One Is Right for You?

Short engagement or budget-focused? → Sample Sale
Want the newest styles + more variety? → Trunk Show

No matter which event you attend, one rule applies:
Come ready to decide.

If you fall in love, say YES. These events are limited, and the one that got away is very real. Trust your gut. Trust the moment. And remember - your dress is worth the confidence.

xoxo,
