Getting the call that your wedding dress has arrived is one of the BEST parts of the bridal experience. But before we give you that exciting ring, your gown goes through our Bella Lily Bridal quality check.

Because this isn't just a dress. It's your wedding dress - and we want to make sure everything is exactly as it should be before you see it.

First Things First: Is It Your Dress?

As soon as your gown arrives, we check the designer tag against your original contract to confirm the style, size and color are exactly what you ordered.

If you requested any customizations - lining, neckline changes, special details, etc. - we check those too!

Then Comes the Head-to-Hem Inspection Not one, but two Bella Lily stylists inspect your entire gown.   We're talking neckline to hem, side seam to side seam. Fabric, lace, beading, appliqués, zippers, buttons - we look it ALL over for any flaws or issues.

Yes, We Steam Every Dress

Every gown gets steamed before your pickup appointment - and it's not just so she looks pretty!

Removing all those shipping wrinkles allows us to get an even better look at the fabric and details so we can spot anything that may have been hiding underneath those creases.

We Measure, Too!

We take measurements of your gown to make sure it is measuring according to the designer's pattern and size specifications.

Remember: bridal gowns are not custom-made to your measurements, which is why alterations are a normal (and important!) part of getting that perfect wedding-day fit.

And Yes, She Gets a Mini Photoshoot

Before your dress leaves our boutique, we take photos so we have a record of the gown and its condition when it arrived.

It's Time for THE Call!

We give you a ring to share the exciting news and schedule your dress pickup appointment!

At your pickup, you'll try on your actual wedding dress, and we'll answer any questions you have about fit and alterations.

And because no bridal look is complete without the finishing touches, this is also the perfect time to try on veils and accessories with your gown and see your entire bridal look come together.

Next Stop: Alterations Bella Lily Bridal does not perform alterations in-house, but don't worry - we'll provide you with a list of rock-star bridal seamstresses who know their way around a wedding dress.   From bustling to hemming to perfecting the fit, they'll help take your gown from beautiful to made-for-you beautiful.

So when you get that "Your dress is here!" call from us, know that your gown has already received a whole lot of Bella Lily love behind the scenes.
