Wedding trends for 2017 are just around the corner. And we’ve made a few predictions ourselves. From florals to bridesmaid dresses, we are very excited to see more of these trends come out in 2017!
We foresee thicker lace being used in interesting and artistic patterns. Our Made With Love gowns from Australia are an immediate favorite, and exude this trend for sure. We love the Danni gown (featured above) and the lace on this beauty is both intricate and perfect for a modern bride. Also keep an eye out for lace over blush, taupe, or latte colored lining. These darker linings allow that pretty lace to pop!
Oversized bouquets are still having their moment, but we think you’ll be seeing more with a cascading effect. We also think this style of florals will be on altars, entrances, and tablescapes.

Along with cascading bouquets, we are so excited about the beauty of a greenery bouquet! All soft green stems will also fit in with Pantone’s color of 2017, “Greenery.”

Sparkle! We love this sparkled bridesmaid look so much, we have some in our salon! We’ve been adding to our sequin gown collection and have quite a few to choose from. And in terms of wedding trends for 2017, we predict you’ll be seeing more awesome styles with that glam.

Cutting the cake is a great tradition at a wedding and while we love this classic moment, traditions are becoming more few and far between. Having cupcakes is a great way to give your guests desserts with being a little different. It’s very easy for your guests to grab a quick cupcake and get back to the dance floor!

If cupcakes are not in your bridal dreams, you could also stay on trend with a painted cake. We think you’ll be seeing more and more of watercolor, marble, and designs that give interest and match the vibe of the wedding.
Last, but in no way the least, we predict a few more wedding venues taking place on the beach. With resorts in exotic places hosting more and more all-inclusive packages, these venues seem to be a great one stop shop for newlywed couples. With ability to still have quite a bit of stylistic opportunities and options, and more quality time with your guests and all for a lower price, we think this is a excellent option.

Hope you find some of these trends as inspiration for your upcoming nuptials!
